Welcome to

Mother of God

We are called to be Disciples of Christ who center our lives in the Eucharist and seek the truth through Scripture and Tradition.  Together we aspire to transform our lives into the virtues of faith, hope and charity.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As many of you are aware, Mother of God Church will be celebrating our 70th Anniversary during the weekend of August 17th-18th. I am hopeful that all our parishioners and families will be an active part of this celebration as it will be in lieu of our annual picnic. It will also be a wonderful opportunity to come together to meet other parishioners whom you may not know, as well as catch up with those whom you see each Saturday or Sunday!

On SundayAuxiliary Bishop Rodriguez will be officiating the Noon Mass and a formal reception will be held from 2-5PM at All Saints Church Hall (2559 S Federal Blvd 80219-a short 12 min drive) to accommodate the large number of parishioners and Mother of God friends expected to be in attendance.

A plentiful buffet will be served along with a variety of libations – This will truly be a kid-friendly family event! There is ample parking and the whole venue is handicap accessible.

On Saturday after the 6PM Mass a delectable Wine and Cheese reception will be held in our church basement from 7-9PM.

Please feel free to attend both celebrations!

We are honored and blessed to have the following priests who have pastored Mother of God preside over the following weekend Masses:

Msgr Bernie Schmitz – 4:00 p.m.

Msgr Thomas Fryar – 6:00 p.m.

Msgr Bernie Schmitz – 8:30 a.m.
Fr. Vincent Phung – 10:00 a.m.

Please feel free to reach out to any former parishioners and Mother of God friends to invite them to be part of our celebration!

Many thanks to all our Mother of God parishioners and friends who have so generously given their time and support over the past 70 years. May God continue to bless our church, our parishioners and friends.

Yours In Christ,

Fr. Vincent Phung, Pastor
